Job Description
Our client in the medical manufacturing industry is looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join their team on an 1 year contract. This role requires fluency in both French and English.
Location: Woodbridge, Ontario
Work Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM, fully on-site
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to all incoming calls, faxes, and emails promptly.
- Efficiently process customer orders received via EDI, fax, email, and phone using SAP, ensuring accuracy in both languages.
- Manage the picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
- Prepare and send customer invoices.
- Oversee product returns and credit processes.
- Generate online waybills for customer orders and internal shipments.
- Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and reorder as necessary.
- Monitor and audit customer shipments, proactively resolving any delays.
- Input all relevant forms into the system.
- Maintain a billing log for units not yet invoiced, based on registry notifications or communications from sales representatives.
- Provide the ‘on-call’ list to the answering service.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a medical device sales or office administration context.
- Fluency in both French and English is a must.
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on diplomacy and conflict resolution.
- Proven ability to foster and maintain relationships with corporate departments and stakeholders.
- Exceptional prioritization, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Energetic, self-driven, and results-oriented.
- Experience with MS Office.
- Familiarity with SAP is considered an asset.
Physical Requirements:
- This role involves physical tasks, requiring the employee to be active away from the desk.
- Comfortable lifting items up to 40 lbs to assist with packaging orders in the warehouse.
