Job Description

Our government defence client is requesting a Logistics Consultant to provide expert advice and staff assistance in logistic concept development and to codify best practices and develop an understanding  in a Contested Congested Logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to understand current practices, challenges, and emerging trends related to OS in a non-permissive operating environment.
  • Draft Doctrine Notes for changes to allow clarity for operations. This academic work will enable the organization integrate requirements and enhance the coherence of capability development efforts.
  • Explore logistics residual authorities as a new concept.
  • Assist in the preparation, development and coordination of capability planning and development
  • Make recommendations and provide advice for improvements and assist in developing solutions and implementing recommendations.
  • Analyzing stakeholder's business objectives and recommending and developing solutions to address their

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Secret Clearance
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in corporate logistics management experience or logistic business practices experience at a Senior level (i.e. Product Manager or Field- Grade Officer)
  • Experience developing and implementing operational-level doctrine, concepts, capabilities and/or procedures related to Operational Support (OS) or Command Support (CS).
  • Experience(s) with Global Supply Chain management and how it relates to Military operations
  • Experience with participating or running Rehearsal of Concept (ROC) drills or wargaming
  • French is an asset
