Property Administrator
Location: Stratford - fully onsite, 5 days per week.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am until 4.30pm
Duration: 11 week contract, potential of extension to permanent.
Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a talent for multitasking and a passion for customer service? We’re currently hiring a Property Administrator to support daily operations for one of our clients in Stratford.
As the Property Administrator, you’ll play a central role in supporting property management functions. From interacting with residents to overseeing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records, you’ll ensure the smooth operation of the office and a positive living experience for tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a primary contact for resident inquiries, offering courteous and timely assistance in person, over the phone, and via email
Coordinate the processing of lease applications, including background checks and verification steps
Prepare lease agreements, tenant updates, rent adjustments, and notices as needed
Monitor and update records related to tenant information, parking, lockers, and business licenses
Accept and record rental payments, manage deposits, and perform account reconciliations
Support the preparation of legal documentation and assist with landlord-tenant board procedures
Manage payables, including reviewing and processing purchase/work orders and vendor invoices
Respond to billing or payment-related questions from tenants and vendors and resolve discrepancies
Draft resident notices, internal memos, and building communications
Train and support on-site staff in following administrative policies and procedures
Maintain well-organized digital and paper filing systems in line with company standards
Provide office coverage during staff absences and contribute to other administrative tasks as needed
What You Bring:
Solid experience in general administrative support.
Professional communication skills and a customer-first attitude
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); familiarity with property management software is a plus
Self-motivated and dependable, with a collaborative approach to teamwork
