Job Description
Our client is a well-established and growing Canadian investment firm with a strong track record of stability, performance, and long-term vision. Today, they are one of the country’s largest independent private investment counselling firms, managing over $16 billion in assets.
As their team continues to expand, they are seeking a Talent Coordinator to support their Talent Acquisition function — helping identify top-tier candidates, maintain organized pipelines, and contribute to a best-in-class recruitment experience.This position is hybrid and requires the successful candidate to work onsite at the client's office in Vancouver at least 1 day per week. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Market Mapping
- Conduct research and create candidate market maps for key roles.
- Identify top talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean searches, and other sourcing tools.
- Build target lists of passive candidates in specific industries.
- Conduct initial outreach and engagement to potential candidates.
- Keep talent pipelines up to date.
- Provide competitive intelligence (e.g., where top talent is going, salary trends, etc.).
- Cleaning up each job, managing volume, keeping the ATS tidy and removing candidates who are not qualified
- Moving candidates into ‘future prospect’ status in the ATS to help support with internal pipelining
- Screen resumes and flag top candidates for recruiters
- Prepare weekly reports on sourcing efforts
- Support and conduct candidate reference checks
- Support with and conduct referral calls and email follow ups
- 2-4 years of experience in recruitment, either at a recruitment agency or in industry in a sourcing role.
- Demonstrated experience working with ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and sourcing tools.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude and ability to work autonomously
- Experience within professional or financial services preferred.
- Experience with Greenhouse ATS preferred
