Job Description
We are seeking a Total Rewards Specialist to support our HR team in data analysis, reporting, and HRIS management. This is a newly created role to enhance analytical capabilities within the team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in HRIS reporting, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to analyze and manipulate data to provide key insights.
This opportunity is starting on a 6 month contract with the potential to extend to 1 year. This is working in a hybrid model, working 2 days onsite per week in Mississauga, 3 days remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and analyze reports from the HRIS system to support decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure accurate compensation and benefits data.
- Manipulate and validate data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions to create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Support compensation and benefits processes by pulling and reviewing data.
- Assist with manual data entry and adjustments in HRIS as needed.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on HR analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with HRIS systems (experience with Meditech is a plus but not required).
- Advanced Excel skills (testing required) – must be proficient in formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience running reports and interpreting data.
- HR degree or a post diploma in HR, CHRL in progress
- Experience with documenting process flows or creating process guides
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with manual data entry and manipulation.
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
- Experience in compensation and benefits is a plus but not mandatory.
- Comfortable adapting to new technologies and HR systems.
