Job Description

Our client, a leading global financial services firm, is seeking a dynamic full-time Data Entry Specialist for a 3-month contract in Vancouver (Downtown/Coal Harbour).

This is a hybrid position, requiring three days per week in the office and two days of remote work.

If you’re highly collaborative, detail-oriented, enjoy working with large datasets, and have an educational and/or professional background in a finance-related discipline, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately review, input, and maintain financial data.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and analysis, ensuring financial integrity, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, as needed.

Requirements:

  • An educational or professional background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline (full designation not mandatory).
  • Prior experience in a corporate data entry or administrative role is a strong asset.
  • Highly analytical, with a proven ability to take ownership of tasks and work both independently and within a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and/or accounting applications for journal entries (JEs) and financial transactions is an asset.
