Payroll Coordinator

Altis Recruitment is excited to partner with our client in the Broader Public Sector to recruit a Payroll Coordinator for a 7-month contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, benefits administration, and employee expense claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

This hybrid, full-time role requires one day per week on-site and allows for up to four days of remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Process new hires, promotions, terminations, and personal transaction forms in Dayforce.
• Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, terminations, and coverage changes.
• Assist with employee expense claims, utilizing a Lotus Notes database for processing.
• Manage biweekly payroll while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide training and support to payroll staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Proficiency in Dayforce and Lotus Notes (or willingness to learn).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
• Previous experience in a payroll or HR-related role is preferred.
