Our established client in the consumer packaged goods industry is seeking a Sales Operations Manager. This role supports the National Sales Manager in aligning channel strategies with customer and brand objectives while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a one-year contract position with a strong possibility of permanency based on performance. Additionally, our client follows a hybrid work model, requiring one day per week on-site at their Markham office.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee critical deliverables, including maintaining sales tools, coordinating events, and supporting various functions as needed.
  • Manage and update key sales resources such as price lists, reference guides, and distribution trackers to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data inconsistencies and maintain up-to-date product and pricing information.
  • Equip the National Sales Manager with the tools and resources necessary to implement strategies and achieve business objectives.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external sales partners to align on priorities, address challenges, and advance key initiatives.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with partners, ensuring their needs and perspectives are represented and addressed effectively.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives in sales operations, promotional planning, and marketing communication.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably within the consumer packaged goods industry.
  • Familiarity with retail category dynamics, consumer product sales, industry trends, and Canadian retail customers across multiple channels.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience in Nielsen Discover, Tableau, and Exceedra considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-driven, strategic, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a motivated and people-focused attitude.
