Language Specialist (Japanese/English)
Our client, a leading data engineering company is looking for MULTIPLE (Japanese and English) Language Specialist for PERMANENT positions.
Schedule:
- Full time (40 hour work week) Monday - Friday, flexible between 8am-8pm (local time zone)
- Pay rate: $55,000/annually + Full benefits (see below)
- Start date: January 6th, 2025 (firm date)

This is a role that translators dream about - you will be training generative AI in how to think, not just how to write.
You will be will joining as subject matter expert to focus on various aspects and responsibilities, including:
- Creating training data sets
- Annotating data
- Analyzing and improving the grammar and syntax
- Collaborating closely with cross functional team, including data scientists and researchers
- Contributing to evolving specifications for AI training
- Achieve target KPI's, including daily job count, average handle time per job and production hours
Requirements
· English AND Japanese at a native or advanced level.
· A minimum of Bachelor Degree
· Work experience in the native language will be considered beneficial.
· Familiarity and knowledge of various writing and art styles, as well as domains.
· Deep understanding of how AIs, MLs, LLMs, and NLPs work is considered an asset
· Demonstrate ability to generate clear, concise, and engaging content.
· Strong research skills and ability to gather information from credible sources.
· Native Language proficiency, with excellent written communication skills.
