Job Description
As part of our client's Sports Marketing / Brand Team team, this position will be responsible for supporting the client's overall programming and athlete initiatives in North America. This role enables an engaging and inspiring interaction between the client's brand, its athletes, and consumers through community sports marketing activities. The primary function of this role will be making sure that every athlete is serviced from a product perspective in a timely and professional manner and all other task will be secondary to this.
Key responsibilities:- Supports all regional and global athlete branding and gear requirements by managing, tracking, and executing all product needs through SAP.
- Supports Brand management functions with product ordering requirements.
- Supports North-American athlete and event sponsorship portfolio by planning for athlete involvement, coordinating athlete logistics, creating and collecting post-event surveys and other related tasks.
- Keeps the athlete working days calendar and athlete trip tracker up to date
- Supports the execution of the yearly sport marketing calendar
- Oversees the delivery of product reviews by all North-American athletes
- Manages the sponsorship inbox
- Collaborates with Brand Marketing, Community Marketing and Digital Marketing to connect the brand with the outdoor community
- Acts as a brand representative in the North-American Outdoor sports scene
- Assists with other marketing tasks as required
- You have a proven track record in Sports Marketing and strategy that supports company evolution
- You have 2+ years experience supporting athletes and sports marketing programs in a product, marketing or administrative capacity
- You thrive in relationship building both internally and externally and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You enjoy identifying and implementing to process to help create efficiencies and a better way of working.
- You thrive in managing a lot of tasks at once and maintain a high attention to detail while prioritizing effectively
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
