Distribution/Warehouse Associate

Our client in the photography industry is seeking a Distribution Associate for a full-time permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall Distribution duties including but not limited to: shipping, receiving, ensuring safety measures are in place of the facility, maintenance of the facility, and other duties as assigned.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:45am-4:45pm (35 hours)

Roles and Responsibilities

• • Ensure shipment items, including Parts, Imaging, and specialized products, are accurately shipped and delivered in a timely manner using the current courier software and ERP system.
  • Accurately receive product from dealers/customers, verify and correct paperwork, properly log and distribute all orders received.
  • Maintain an orderly Distribution facility, including following all necessary Health & Safety measures.
  • Provide distribution support to all departments as needed.
  • Perform other responsibilities assigned by Assistant Manager, Distribution.

  Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School completion required.
  • 1+ years of experience in a Distribution Center environment.
  • Comfortable in Windows Environments such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with team members, managers, delivery drivers, and other departmental employees.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Strong teamwork skills and able to support team members as needed.
  • Able to lift up to 15-20 lbs regularly.

Working Conditions:

• Candidate will work in a warehouse environment with exposure to dust, moving machinery, and noise
• Candidate will be required to be standing or walking in the performance of duties
