Job Description

Altis Recruitment is grateful to have the opportunity to partner an organization within the Broader Public Sector to support the recruitment of a Bilingual Human Resources Administration Assistant.

This is a full-time permanent position with a Crown Corporation, working in a hybrid work arrangement with requirements of 2 days a week on-site. 

The Human Resorces Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting and processing HR related documents, answering inquries coming from employees, and ensuring compliance with operation standards, HR policies, Collective Agreements; while exercising independent judgement and decision making skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of various documents and files (e.g., retirement, resignation).
  • Verify requests for compliance with policies, Workday procedures, and collective agreements.
  • Address employee inquiries via a ticketing system, ensuring effective and timely resolution, including escalated interactions.
  • Foster trust-based relationships with requesters through open, supportive, and positive communication.
  • Validate all requests for proper authorization and documentation, coordinating with relevant stakeholders for clarification if necessary.
  • Review pay draft results to confirm correct application of changes in the pay system when needed.
  • Collaborate with other teams such as Shared Services, Workday People System and Analytics, Total Rewards, and HR Business Partners to ensure accurate entry of pay information.
  • Demonstrate awareness of the broader impacts on Workday processes when modifying employee files to uphold accuracy.
  • Participate in documenting internal procedures and processes.
  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive information related to employee files with utmost discretion.

Requirements:
  • University degree in a relevant study area or related field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Bilingualism in French and English
  • Knowledge of Workday a big asset
