Job Description

Our client in the financial services industry is hiring multiple Bilingual Disability Claims Specialist for a full-time permanent role that is 100% remote. This position is open to candidates that are located in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and New Brunswick. 

In this role you will be assessing and overseeing disability claims within a collaborative, digitally-driven setting. Your responsibilities encompass recertifying and processing claims in alignment with unit protocols, all while prioritizing excellent client service.

This role offers 3 weeks vacation, a $5K bonus, a full benefits package from day one and more!

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee a high volume caseload of disability claims.
  • Adjudicate claims by employing a comprehensive claim management approach to ensure impartial, equitable, and thorough claim resolution.
  • Adhere to established practices, procedures, and regulatory mandates, while prioritizing the provision of exceptional customer service and managing reputational risks.
  • Develop and implement claims management and return-to-work strategies for assigned caseloads when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively and establish rapport with team members, stakeholders, and business partners, utilizing various techniques and collaboration throughout the entire process from initiation to closure.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • A degree or diploma in a related field 
  • Fully Bilingual in English and French 
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written 
  • Experience is disability claims 
  • Experience working in the financial service's industry considered an asset 
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills
