Job Description
Our valued Federal Government client is currently seeking a Technical Writer for a Dynamics 365 project. This is a REMOTE 1+ year project.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Meeting with internal subject matter experts to solicit advice and guidance on content and format of user guides.
- Highlighting the areas where our documentation uses inconsistent language or functionality, with the goal to standardize and align language across the full suite of user documentation.
- Researching, writing, revising and formatting existing and new user documentation including guidelines, manuals, FAQs and training documents to ensure they are clear, concise, in plain language, and be easy to understand for internal users (i.e. employees) and external users (i.e. clients and partners).
- Documenting other business process and IT-related information, such as best practices when using various digital tools such as MS Dynamics, SharePoint, Microsoft Portal, Power BI and other Microsoft tools.
Qualifications and Skills
- a minimum of six (6) months experience in the last three (3) years developing user documentation, including guidelines, instructions, help text, user manuals, and technical documentation for a Microsoft Dynamics Online and/or SharePoint Online implementation
- a minimum of five (5) years experience in the last ten (10) years documenting the existing functionality of a business system such as application portals, claim modules and information management repositories.
- a minimum of five (5) years experience in the last ten (10) years creating training content
