Payroll Administrator
Our client, a large outdoor goods retailer, is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team urgently. This is is a contract position with a guaranteed term until the end of February 2024. There is a possibility of extension.
Performed in a hybrid model, this individual will be supporting the Payroll Manager with PIER Audits, ROE creation, payroll administration for 1400+ employees across Canada, and new employee onboarding. The selected individual may also help with the new HRIS implementation project.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with year-end and T4 preparation.
- Draft bonus import files for final pay periods.
- Assist with ROEs on a as needed basis.
- Administer HR onboarding documents to new hires.
- Prepare, process, and audit PIER.
- Process HR/payroll related change requests and paperwork.
- All other duties as requested.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1+ years of experience in full-cycle payroll.
- Experience performing payroll for over 100 employees
- Multi-province payroll experience is considered a strong asset.
- UltiPro and ADP experience required (other large HRIS experience would be considered as well).
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
