Talent Engagement Specialist, IT Services
Altis Technology is seeking a stellar IT, Talent Engagement Specialist, who is based out of British Columbia and familiar with the BC market, to join and support our growing IT Services, Broader Public Sector team! This is an exciting opportunity for anyone passionate about pipelining, sourcing strategies, and building strong connections.
As a Talent Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and recruiting top-tier mid-senior level talent for our organization's key positions. You will work closely with our Manager, Talent Strategy & Experience to understand business needs, develop strategies and projects, and ensure the recruitment process aligns with the company's goals. Your primary focus will be on sourcing, engaging, and securing high-caliber candidates for mid-senior level roles across various departments.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Talent Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing techniques, including networking, direct sourcing, social media, industry events, and other channels, to build a pipeline of qualified mid-senior level IT candidates.
- Candidate Assessment: Conduct in-depth interviews, evaluate qualifications, assess skills, and identify the most suitable candidates.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates, industry professionals, and internal teams to expand our network of mid-senior level talent.
- Consultative Approach: Provide strategic guidance on market trends, talent landscape insights, and competitive intelligence related to mid-senior-level hiring.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine and ensure a positive candidate experience for applicants.
- Brand Ambassadorship & Networking: Represent the company professionally at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the organization and attract top talent.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience, minimum 2 years in the staffing industry, preferably with a specialization in IT sourcing
- Strong knowledge of talent markets, including industry trends, key players, and competitor analysis
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, environment
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, and other recruitment tools
