Job Description

Key qualifications include experience in accounting, and proficiency in computerized accounting systems. The ideal candidate should be adept at managing shifting priorities, possess strong time management skills, and demonstrate a commitment to task completion.
Job Duties:
- Maintain books of account, including invoice coding, check preparation, deposit handling, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Oversee check issuance and invoice payments
- Manage accounts receivable
- Assist with payroll functions
- Provide technical support, including software updates and troubleshooting
- Maintain an organized filing system to support bookkeeping and financial records
Requirements:
- Strong affinity for technology and innovative thinking
- Prior accounting experience
- Proficiency in cloud computing and accounting software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office, QuickBooks Online (QBO), and MS Excel
- Attention to detail, especially under tight deadlines
- Comfortable communicating with diverse individuals
- Billing experience is a plus
- Collaborative team player
- Effective project management and organizational skills
- Thorough and accurate document work that allows for partner or manager review
- Strong problem identification and resolution abilities
- Critical and logical thinking for analysis and reasoning
- Knowledge of and ability to implement company policies and procedures
