Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client in the Real Estate Industry is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis in Langley, BC.

Location: Must be available to work on site 5 days weeks in Langley, BC

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify and match invoices with purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain vendor files, including accurate and up-to-date records of payments and correspondence.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciling accounts payable transactions and preparing reports.
• Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve any payment or invoice-related inquiries.
• Monitor and maintain the AP email inbox, ensuring prompt response and resolution of inquiries.
• Utilize Sage accounting software to perform AP functions, such as entering invoices, processing payments, and generating reports.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience working within a similar role
• Must have experience working with SAGE
