Job Description
Our Client based out of Surrey, is looking for a Property Administrator/Leasing Assistant. This candidate would provide exceptional day-to-day administrative support for our commercial property portfolio in British Columbia. Reporting to the Property Manager, this role will assist in supporting the daily operations of all commercial properties and leasing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide day-to-day administration and support for the Commercial Property Management Group
- Draft, distribute and track a variety of tenant related correspondence for the buildings
- Work with the Property Manager on invoicing, reporting, rent rolls, leases and other key documentation
- Review and prepare internal and external invoices and documents, submitting necessary paperwork for new vendors
- Make sure all operations files, tenant emergency contacts and service contracts are up to date
- Process tenant service orders and invoice tenants as needed
- Deposit cheques, create chargebacks, credit notes and purchase orders as needed
- Assist in marketing vacant units, including websites and brochures
- Assist with offers to lease and lease preparation
- Inspect vacant units and complete move in/out reports
- Liaising with tenants and prospective tenants
- Liaise with executives, management, accounting, finance and other key departments and personnel
- Complete other administrative and office duties as required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in property management administration or leasing, preferably in a commercial environment.
- Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat)
- Strong administrative and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to be highly organized and multi-task in a detailed-oriented office environment
- Positive and professional attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong ability to collaborate with others and work independently
