Job Description
Our client, a reputable food manufacturing company is looking to add a Billing Analyst to their team on a permanent basis. This is a stand alone position reporting to the VMS Manager. You will be responsible for supporting all departments within their frozen department by providing administrative assistance and general financial tasks, manage and create Purchase Orders, reconcile timesheets with invoices received from various vendors.
- Assist the Operations/Accounting department in achieving accurate and punctual completion of the weekly invoicing process
Initiate New Vendor Requests as necessary for the Coupa Supplier portal. - Generate Purchase Orders within the Coupa system.
- Maintain a precise and comprehensive record of weekly timesheets.
- Organize and oversee the preparation of monthly reconciliation sheets, addressing discrepancies when required.
- Ensure the timely receipt of invoices in Coupa while tracking weekly hours submitted against invoices received.
- Provide internal reports, and enhance their efficiency and utility as needed.
- Verify the correct application of the Rate Table to all pay and bill rates.
- Ensure accurate calculation and invoicing of Statutory Holidays, Overtime, and premium payments.
- Conduct weekly intercompany reconciliations.
- Electronically and manually file documents, reports, journal entries, and other Accounting-related materials.
- Offer support for various business projects.
Job Requirements:
- Post Secondary Education in Business Administration, Accounting or related
- Minimum 1 years in a transactional accounting related role
- Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot table and VLOOKUPS)
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong organization skills
