We're looking for a Assessment Coordinator to join a public sector organization supporting professional certification and assessment processes across British Columbia.

In this role, you'll play an important part in reviewing applications, evaluating supporting documentation, and ensuring assessments are processed accurately and efficiently. You'll join a knowledgeable, collaborative team that values accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement, where your work directly supports individuals pursuing professional certification.

• A collaborative, knowledgeable team that values accuracy and accountability.
• Comprehensive training and exposure to specialized assessment processes and systems.
• Opportunities to strengthen your administrative, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Potential for contract extension or longer-term opportunities.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll review and process challenge applications, assessing work experience, supporting documentation, and verification reports against established certification requirements.
• You'll coordinate with verification agencies, track application progress, conduct quality assurance checks, and communicate assessment outcomes.
• You'll make informed eligibility decisions using established guidelines, escalating complex cases to the appropriate team members.
• You'll maintain accurate records across multiple CRM systems and internal databases, ensuring documentation, case notes, and application statuses are consistently updated.
• You'll respond to internal inquiries, provide guidance on assessment processes, and support the orientation and training of staff and service providers.
• You'll support administrative activities, including invoice reconciliation, updating forms and website content, managing system notifications, and troubleshooting technology issues.
• You'll maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders while supporting quality assurance activities and audits of assessment agencies.

Skills and Qualifications
• Previous experience in administrative coordination, application processing, student services, or a similar detail-focused role.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to interpret documentation and make informed decisions.
• Experience navigating multiple CRM systems, databases, and digital recordkeeping platforms, with confidence managing manual updates across systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, email management, and electronic filing.
• Familiarity with skilled trades regulations, apprenticeship programs, or professional certification processes is considered an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage repetitive, high-volume administrative tasks independently while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
