Job Description

Location: Mississauga, ON (Fully on-site)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Starting at $50,000 annually, plus comprehensive health and dental benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join an established organization in a fast-paced, business-to-business (B2B) environment. Reporting to the Corporate Credit Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of customer accounts, monitor outstanding balances, and work directly with clients to ensure payments are received on time.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in credit, collections, or accounts receivable. Whether you're a recent graduate, have completed a relevant internship, or bring previous credit or customer account experience, you'll have the opportunity to develop your financial and analytical skills while building relationships with business clients.

What's In It for You
Join a collaborative workplace that values teamwork, accountability, and professional development. You'll gain hands-on exposure to credit management, accounts receivable, and B2B customer relationships while working closely with an experienced Corporate Credit Manager. This permanent opportunity offers a competitive starting salary, comprehensive health and dental benefits, and a consistent weekday schedule that supports work-life balance.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll manage a portfolio of approximately 60–80 customer accounts, reviewing outstanding balances and ensuring payment terms are respected.
• You'll make regular outbound calls and follow up with business clients regarding overdue payments, outstanding invoices, and account updates.
• You'll work with customers to understand payment challenges, negotiate payment arrangements, and identify practical solutions.
• You'll review account activity, monitor payment commitments, and escalate unresolved concerns when appropriate.
• You'll maintain accurate records of customer transactions, communications, and follow-up activities within internal systems.
• You'll support order management activities and make credit-related decisions in accordance with established company policies.
• You'll collaborate with internal teams to resolve account discrepancies, meet deadlines, and achieve credit and collections objectives.

Skills and Qualifications
• Previous experience or exposure to credit, accounts receivable, collections, finance, or related administrative work is preferred. Recent graduates and candidates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
• Strong customer service, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with confidence communicating with clients by phone.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to review account information, identify discrepancies, and track payment activity.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of accounts and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, call-heavy environment while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
• Experience with Salesforce, credit management systems, or accounts receivable software is considered an asset but is not required.

Note from the Hiring Manager
"We're looking for someone who is organized, comfortable picking up the phone, and eager to learn. You don't need to come in with years of credit experience. What matters most is having the right attitude, strong follow-up skills, and the confidence to build relationships with our customers while keeping accounts on track."
