About the Opportunity
Are you a hands-on AV professional who enjoys solving technical challenges and bringing interactive experiences to life? We're looking for a Mid-Tier AV/Multimedia Technician to support audiovisual systems across two prominent public-sector museum locations in the National Capital Region.

In this role, you'll work alongside experienced AV specialists to install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment that helps deliver engaging visitor experiences. From interactive exhibits to multimedia installations, your work will help keep technology running smoothly for visitors and staff.

What's In It for You
• Join a collaborative, supportive team that values technical curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• Gain hands-on exposure to diverse AV technologies and unique exhibition environments.
• Benefit from structured onboarding, knowledge sharing, and opportunities to develop your technical skills.
• Enjoy a predictable full-time schedule of 7.5 hours per day, with occasional overtime.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll install, configure, test, and dismantle AV equipment, including projectors, displays, speakers, amplifiers, and interactive systems.
• You'll perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across exhibition spaces.
• You'll respond to technical support tickets, assist users, and escalate complex issues when needed.
• You'll support AV integration projects, ensuring equipment installation and cabling are neat, organized, and functional.
• You'll maintain equipment inventories, organize stockroom supplies, and assess hardware for replacement or upgrades.
• You'll collaborate with AV specialists on exhibition installations, equipment modernization, and special projects.

Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in AV installation, integration, maintenance, or technical support, ideally in commercial AV, education, live events, broadcast, or similar environments.
• Practical knowledge of projectors, displays, audio distribution, amplifiers, digital video signals, and structured cabling.
• Basic familiarity with AV control systems such as Q-SYS, network connectivity, computer hardware, and ticketing systems. Advanced programming is not required.
• Diploma or certificate in AV or entertainment technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn new systems.
• Ability to lift equipment up to 15 kg and obtain fall-arrest or scissor-lift certification if required.
