Are you a seasoned Software Developer who enjoys simplifying complex processes and building smarter, more efficient systems? We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to join a public sector healthcare information organization focused on improving data management through workflow optimization and automation.

In this role, you'll collaborate with technical leaders and business stakeholders to modernize data ingestion processes, reduce manual intervention, and improve data quality. Your expertise in Java, Python, PL/SQL, and Apache Airflow will help deliver meaningful improvements that make day-to-day operations more efficient and reliable.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll assess existing CMDB data ingestion workflows and identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.
• You'll collaborate with the Technical Lead and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical automation solutions.
• You'll design and implement enhancements to Java-based backend systems and related data processing workflows.
• You'll leverage Python, PL/SQL, and Apache Airflow to optimize data pipelines and improve processing efficiency.
• You'll develop test plans, execute automated tests, and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure solution reliability.
• You'll prepare clear technical and end-user documentation to support implementation and ongoing operations.

Skills and Qualifications
• Extensive senior-level software development experience, particularly with Java-based backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PL/SQL, and Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and automation.
• Proven experience with automated testing, DevOps practices, and software delivery.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience supporting development, operations, and production environments, with a flexible, hands-on approach.
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize competing tasks and manage demanding workloads.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with a collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset.
