This is a highly collaborative leadership role where you’ll work closely with clinical, operational and corporate leaders to strengthen fiscal stewardship and align financial planning with organizational priorities. As a trusted advisor, you’ll bring insight, curiosity and sound judgment to decisions that ultimately support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

This opportunity offers significant exposure to senior leadership, complex financial initiatives and enterprise-wide transformation, alongside a culture that values collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audit activities and core financial operations.
  • You’ll advise senior, clinical and operational leaders, translating complex financial information into clear recommendations.
  • You’ll strengthen financial controls, identify efficiencies and optimize funding opportunities.
  • You’ll ensure alignment with Ontario healthcare funding, reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • You’ll champion financial systems, process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • You’ll lead and develop a high-performing finance team while building strong partnerships across the organization.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within healthcare or another complex publicly funded environment.
  • CPA or equivalent designation and a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario healthcare funding, OHRS, MIS guidelines and financial reporting requirements.
  • Advanced financial modelling, analytical and Excel capabilities.
  • Experience with financial systems and process transformation, with SAP S/4HANA, Questica or Cognos considered assets.
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop people, influence stakeholders and lead through change.
