About the Opportunity
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys bringing structure to complex processes? We're looking for a Finance Operations Specialist to support the North American Sports Marketing team of a leading organization in the outdoor apparel industry.
In this role, you'll work closely with Sports Marketing, Finance and Procurement to manage purchasing, payments, budgets and forecasting. You'll play an important role behind the scenes, ensuring athletes, partners and vendors receive accurate, timely payments while helping the team make informed financial decisions.

What's In It for You
• Enjoy the flexibility of remote work while connecting with your team at four in-person events throughout the year.
• Join a collaborative, people-focused team passionate about outdoor sports and meaningful partnerships.
• Gain exposure to financial operations supporting athlete programs and marketing initiatives across North America.
• Enjoy opportunities to improve processes, build reporting tools and contribute to broader financial operations.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll manage end-to-end purchasing and payment processes, including purchase orders, invoices, approvals, reimbursements and vendor onboarding.
• You'll maintain accurate financial records, track commitments and reconcile spending against approved budgets.
• You'll lead budget forecasting and provide quarterly reporting on expenditures, available funds and potential variances.
• You'll collaborate with Finance, Procurement and Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
• You'll manage financial administration across SAP Ariba, Uptempo, Kofax, Excel and related systems.
• You'll develop efficient workflows, reporting tools and financial models to improve visibility and streamline processes.
• You'll support athletes, partners and internal stakeholders by responding to financial inquiries and resolving payment issues.

Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in financial operations, accounts payable, accounting or finance administration.
• Proven ability to independently manage purchasing, payments, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with enterprise financial systems, ideally SAP Ariba or similar. Familiarity with Uptempo and Kofax is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and commitment to financial accuracy.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with confidence supporting internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities, adaptability and experience managing competing priorities independently.
• Interest in mountain sports and outdoor culture is an asset, but not required.
