Position Overview
The Reporting Team drives operational performance, quality improvement, and automation support. They provide operational analysis to allow for optimal business decisions in Distribution Centers. In a fast-paced environment, they find data-driven solutions under tight deadlines while collaborating with DC Operations and Supply Chain Leadership Teams.
Responsibilities
- Creation of operational reporting and analytics solutions to drive business improvement and operational change.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and reporting infrastructure.
- Build, maintain, and optimize Databricks SQL views and curated datasets to support operational reporting and analytics requirements.
- Develop and support business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Provide data support, stewardship, and subject matter expertise for Distribution Centre Operations.
- Develop a thorough understanding of operational processes, workflows, KPIs, and business objectives.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify challenges, assess requirements, recommend and develop scalable solutions, including reporting, dashboards, self-service analytics, automation, and process enhancements.
- Champion data quality, governance, and best practices to ensure reliable, actionable information that supports operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Carry out detailed root cause analysis and investigation on various Distribution Centre processes, functions, and systems.
- Conduct benchmark analysis (internal and industry) on tools, processes, and performance measures.
- Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for Distribution Centre key performance indicators.
- Support Supply Chain leadership decision-making through ad hoc analysis and data-driven recommendations.
- Evolve reporting and analytics solutions to incorporate AI, automation, and predictive capabilities.

Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including extensive experience building dashboards, data models, visualizations, and reporting solutions using multiple data sources.
- Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, to streamline processes, automate workflows, and deliver business solutions.
- Strong experience writing and optimizing SQL queries, including the creation and maintenance of Databricks SQL views, datasets, and data models for reporting and analytics purposes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Data Lakes, Hadoop, and Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW).
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to conceptualize complex issues, organize information effectively, and solve problems efficiently.
- Strong facilitation skills capable of leading discussions, workshops, and presentations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for interacting with all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated with the ability to independently drive projects from conception through implementation.
- Demonstrated experience performing data analysis and providing actionable recommendations to operational and leadership teams.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets in operational environments.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership across the organization.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and Python is desirable.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Access, and Visio.
- Experience with AI and advanced analytics tools, including Machine Learning concepts, Large Language Models (LLMs), Microsoft Copilot, and Databricks AI capabilities, is considered a strong asset.
