About the Opportunity
Altis Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, technology-enabled business transformation initiatives within a large public sector organization. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives on bringing structure to complexity, aligning cross-functional teams, and delivering meaningful operational improvements.

Working closely with business leaders, technology teams, and change management professionals, you'll oversee projects from initial planning through implementation. You'll combine project management expertise with business analysis skills to drive modernization, improve processes, and ensure successful organizational transitions.

Your Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end project delivery, managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and quality across multiple workstreams.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, design reviews, planning sessions, and executive decision-making forums.
• Develop integrated project plans, financial forecasts, RAID logs, governance materials, and executive reporting.
• Partner with business and technology teams on requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, solution design, testing, and deployment.
• Coordinate change management, communications, training, operational readiness, and transition activities.
• Establish KPIs, benefits tracking, and performance measures to evaluate project outcomes.
• Identify delivery risks, resolve dependencies, and drive continuous process improvement.

Skills and Qualifications
• 7+ years of project management experience delivering complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives.
• Experience in insurance and/or public sector environments, with both strongly preferred.
• Strong financial management, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, governance, and executive communication skills.
• Proven experience leading matrix teams through technology implementation, organizational change, and go-live activities.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and SAFe methodologies, including Agile principles within hybrid delivery environments.
• Hands-on Azure DevOps experience managing work items, milestones, dependencies, and delivery reporting.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of claims, workers' compensation, or disability management is an asset, as are Lean, Six Sigma, or Prosci certifications.
