About the Opportunity
Are you a proactive recruitment professional who loves connecting people with opportunities and keeping hiring processes moving? We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter to join an established engineering consulting organization during an exciting period of hiring activity. You'll support a collaborative HR team responsible for approximately 200 hires annually across engineering, technical, corporate, and co-op positions.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll coordinate interviews, manage candidate communications, and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
• You'll maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activities using Paycor ATS.
• You'll screen applications, identify qualified candidates, and support recruitment across technical and corporate positions.
• You'll assist with high-volume co-op recruitment, including application reviews and interview coordination.
• You'll build relationships with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and priorities.
• You'll identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, candidate pipelines, and overall hiring efficiency.
• You'll provide additional HR coordination and administrative support as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
• Previous recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR coordination experience, including relevant co-op or internship experience.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems, ideally Paycor; exposure to Rippling is an asset.
• Strong technical aptitude and confidence learning and navigating new software.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities independently.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and candidate screening abilities.
• Experience recruiting engineering, technical, or high-volume positions is an asset.
• Proactive, resourceful mindset with an interest in recruitment strategy, process improvement, and problem-solving.
