About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a Junior Project Manager to support a large-scale Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) digital transformation program within a complex enterprise environment. Working closely with a Senior Project Manager, you’ll help keep multiple workstreams organized, visible, and moving forward while gaining hands-on exposure to a major technology transformation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career project professional who enjoys bringing structure to complex initiatives and collaborating across business, IT, engineering, vendors, and other stakeholders. You’ll take on meaningful project responsibilities while building your skills in governance, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and project controls.
What’s In It for You
You’ll gain valuable experience supporting a large enterprise transformation, with mentorship and coaching from experienced project and transformation professionals. You’ll also have opportunities to progressively own work packages, strengthen your leadership skills, and gain exposure to executive reporting, change enablement, and enterprise governance.
Your Responsibilities
• You’ll maintain project schedules, work plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and workstream trackers.
• You’ll prepare status reports, dashboards, executive summaries, presentations, and governance materials.
• You’ll maintain RAID and decision logs, following up with owners to keep actions and mitigation plans on track.
• You’ll coordinate meetings and workshops, prepare agendas and minutes, document decisions, and track action items.
• You’ll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify delivery risks, monitor progress, and escalate concerns.
• You’ll maintain organized project documentation and repositories using SharePoint and other approved collaboration tools.
• You’ll contribute to continuous improvements in project templates, reporting methods, processes, and ways of working.
Skills and Qualifications
• 1–3 years of experience supporting projects, PMO activities, IT, engineering, manufacturing, operations, or business transformation initiatives, including relevant co-op or internship experience.
• Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or equivalent combination of relevant education and practical project experience.
• Working knowledge of project management fundamentals and Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery approaches.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Exposure to PLM platforms such as Teamcenter, enterprise systems, ERP, engineering, manufacturing, or digital transformation is an asset.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Power BI, or comparable project planning and reporting tools is an asset.
