About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to provide temporary administrative support across two outpatient clinics within a hospital environment. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming, organized experience for patients.
This is a fully on-site opportunity for someone who is comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and stepping into a busy clinical setting with minimal training. If you have previous hospital administration experience and are confident using iCare, this is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll serve as the first point of contact for patients, greeting visitors, answering phones, and supporting check-in processes across two clinics
• You'll manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and follow-ups using the iCare scheduling system
• You'll monitor shared email inboxes, respond to inquiries, and coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff
• You'll support multiple healthcare professionals with calendar coordination, virtual appointments, and day-to-day administrative needs
• You'll independently manage reception workflows, ensuring accurate scheduling and a positive patient experience
Skills and Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience in medical reception, medical administration, or a medical secretary role
• Previous experience working in a hospital or busy outpatient clinical environment is required
• Hands-on experience with iCare scheduling software is required
• Strong appointment scheduling, email management, and patient coordination skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, patient-focused approach
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Availability to work fully on-site in Toronto, Monday to Friday, with an October 19 start date
