This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical, fast-paced work, takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, and is ready to grow into a leadership role.

What's In It for You

• Full-time hours, 40 hours per week
• A collaborative, close-knit team where your contributions make a difference
• Opportunities to develop your leadership skills to grow towards a Lead position
• A varied role combining warehouse operations, inventory coordination, and customer interaction

Your Responsibilities

• You'll support the Warehouse Manager in coordinating daily activities and keeping warehouse operations running efficiently.
• You'll receive, unload, organize, and track furniture inventory, helping identify and resolve discrepancies.
• You'll replenish and organize the showroom to ensure furniture is presented professionally.
• You'll safely lift, move, wrap, and prepare furniture for deliveries and customer pickups.
• You'll assist with loading furniture, including larger items such as sofas and dressers, using appropriate equipment and safe lifting practices.
• You'll maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• You'll interact with customers during pickups, providing friendly, professional service.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience in warehouse operations, furniture retail, or a similar physically demanding environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills, with a professional and approachable manner
• Experience with inventory management, stock organization, and receiving procedures
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy furniture, independently or with team assistance and appropriate equipment
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Forklift or order picker experience or certification is an asset, but training can be provided
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends, within the Monday-to-Sunday 40h workweek schedule

Note from the Hiring Manager

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a small team, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
