Compensation: $25/hour plus 2% commission on personally closed sales. Estimated annual earning potential of $60,000–$85,000+, with significant opportunity to earn more as sales performance grows.

About the Opportunity
Are you a motivated sales professional who loves building customer relationships and helping others succeed? We're looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to join a customer-focused retail showroom in Mississauga. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for sales with hands-on team leadership in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
In this role, you'll work closely with the Showroom Manager to support daily operations, coach Sales Associates and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You'll lead by example on the sales floor, driving your own sales results while helping the team achieve its goals.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll support the Showroom Manager with daily operations, helping ensure the showroom runs smoothly and efficiently.
• You'll lead by example on the sales floor, providing guidance, coaching and accountability to Sales Associates.
• You'll greet customers, understand their needs and deliver exceptional service throughout the sales process.
• You'll drive sales by building strong customer relationships, following up on opportunities and closing deals.
• You'll help train and mentor new and existing team members to strengthen sales performance and customer service.
• You'll assist with resolving customer concerns professionally, ensuring a positive experience.

Skills and Qualifications
• Previous experience in retail sales, ideally with exposure to team leadership or coaching.
• Strong sales abilities with a customer-first mindset and a track record of building relationships.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance individual sales targets with team priorities.
• A professional appearance and approach to customer interactions.
• Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
