About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Governance Administrator to support the effective operation of Council and several key committees within a regulatory organization. You’ll play an important role in keeping governance activities organized, timely and aligned with legislative and by-law requirements.
Working closely with senior leadership, Council and Committee members, you’ll coordinate meetings, elections, appointments and governance initiatives that support informed decision-making. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, managing details and keeping complex processes moving forward.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll coordinate Council and Committee meetings, including scheduling, logistics, agendas, materials, minutes and follow-up documentation.
• You’ll prepare speaking notes, correspondence, reports and other governance-related materials for senior leadership.
• You’ll support Council elections, Committee appointments, nominations and board evaluation processes while ensuring established requirements are followed.
• You’ll respond to inquiries, maintain databases and coordinate information for candidates, applicants and appointees.
• You’ll support orientation and professional development sessions for newly elected and appointed members.
• You’ll monitor governance-related expenditures, identify variances and coordinate approved expense reimbursements.
Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of related experience coordinating Board, Council or Committee activities, combined with completed post-secondary education.
• Knowledge of regulatory environments, governance practices and the role of statutory committees.
• Strong planning, organization and time-management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail, discretion and client service skills, with a tactful and diplomatic communication style.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Nasdaq Boardvantage, SharePoint, Zoom, OneDrive and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong adaptability and collaboration skills, with a commitment to integrity, continuous learning and respectful working relationships.
