About the Opportunity
We’re hiring an IT & Cybersecurity Analyst to join a professional membership organization in Ottawa. This is an excellent early-career opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems and wants to build hands-on cybersecurity experience while supporting a diverse community of users.
You’ll work closely with team members to keep systems secure, reliable and accessible. Combining frontline IT support with cybersecurity responsibilities, you’ll gain exposure to Microsoft security technologies, identity and access management, incident response and day-to-day technical operations.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll monitor security alerts, system logs and dashboards, escalating potential threats and incidents when required.
• You’ll support Microsoft security technologies including Defender, Entra ID, Conditional Access and Multi-Factor Authentication.
• You’ll provide frontline support for hardware, software, connectivity, authentication and application issues.
• You’ll troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• You’ll manage user accounts, password resets, access requests and identity lifecycle activities.
• You’ll configure and deploy laptops, mobile devices, peripherals and software applications.
• You’ll support vulnerability remediation, security awareness initiatives, documentation and technology projects.
Skills and Qualifications
• Up to 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, cybersecurity or a related technical environment.
• College diploma in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of Windows and Linux, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID and networking concepts including IP, DNS and DHCP.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems, remote support tools, endpoint troubleshooting and Microsoft security technologies.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CySA+, SC-900, SC-200 or SC-300 are considered assets.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and French.
• Excellent troubleshooting, organization and customer service skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities independently and collaboratively.
