Bilingual Parking Agent (Part-Time)
Location: Ottawa, ON (On-site)
Language: Advanced spoken French and strong spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly in writing in both languages
Duration: 3 to 6-month contract, with potential for extension
Compensation: $24.50 per hour
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 4:00 PM to midnight, with potential for additional shifts
Background Check Requirement: Criminal background check, education verification, and applicable healthcare immunization requirements, including vaccination and TB screening

Your Responsibilities
• You'll respond to incoming calls, providing professional and timely assistance to patients, visitors, and staff.
• You'll troubleshoot parking equipment issues and guide callers through payment-related concerns.
• You'll process parking payments, ticket inquiries, and special parking pass requests.
• You'll manage challenging conversations with patience, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach.
• You'll accurately document service requests, prepare daily shift reports, and participate in team huddles.
• You'll follow established procedures while collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
Skills and Qualifications
• At least 6 months of recent experience in a busy, computerized customer service or contact centre environment.
• Advanced spoken French proficiency and strong English communication skills, with clear written communication in both languages.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask across systems.
• A calm, professional approach to handling frustrated callers and resolving customer concerns.
• Availability to work Saturday and Sunday evening shifts, complete weekday training, and occasionally provide additional coverage.
• Ability to commit to a minimum 3-month assignment, with 6 months preferred.
