About the Role
We're looking for an organized and proactive Expeditor to join a busy automotive manufacturing team. In this role, you'll help ensure the right materials and parts arrive on time so production can continue without interruption. Working closely with Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouse, and Operations, you'll coordinate supplier deliveries, monitor shipments, and resolve issues before they impact production.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and communicating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers, carriers, and drivers.
• Monitor supplier deliveries and follow up to ensure materials arrive on schedule.
• Communicate shipment updates and escalate delivery or material issues when required.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and logistics information within SAP and other internal systems.
• Prepare reports and analyze data related to inventory, supplier performance, and logistics activities.
• Support customs documentation and trade compliance activities as needed.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouse, and Operations teams to keep production running efficiently.
What We're Looking For
• 0–3 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills. An Excel assessment is required.
• Experience using SAP or another ERP/MRP system is considered a strong asset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, ask questions, and recommend solutions.
• High sense of urgency and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Experience with customs documentation, import/export processes, or CVSA reporting is considered an asset.
• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business Administration, IT, or a related discipline is preferred.
