We are recruiting for a growing professional services organization that is expanding through strategic acquisitions and is looking for a Manager, Bookkeeping Services to help shape the future of its bookkeeping practice.

In this leadership role, you'll work closely with executive leadership and bookkeeping teams across multiple locations to strengthen client relationships, improve processes, and support business transformation initiatives. Your Responsibilities

  • You'll lead bookkeeping teams across multiple locations, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance leadership.
  • You'll oversee the review of bookkeeping files and financial reporting to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance.
  • You'll build trusted relationships with clients by supporting onboarding, understanding business needs, and delivering exceptional service.
  • You'll drive process improvements by standardizing workflows, optimizing technology, and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • You'll support the integration of newly acquired businesses while helping create a collaborative and positive team culture.
  • You'll partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives that support the continued growth of the bookkeeping division.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or outsourced accounting services.
  • CPA designation or equivalent accounting leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing accounting or bookkeeping teams.
  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle bookkeeping, financial reporting, and quality review processes.
  • Experience with process improvement, operational excellence, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Yardi, or Carbon is considered an asset.
