Your Responsibilities
• You'll review and assess student clinical placement records to ensure compliance with placement requirements.
• You'll evaluate immunization documentation and occupational health requirements using your nursing expertise.
• You'll maintain accurate, confidential student records while ensuring documentation meets established standards.
• You'll collaborate with academic programs and external stakeholders to support the consistent delivery of the placement compliance program.
• You'll provide guidance to students using effective health counselling techniques and respond to complex inquiries with professionalism.
• You'll apply relevant legislation, policies, and procedures while identifying and resolving compliance issues in a timely manner.

Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing Sciences (RN) with 3+ years of experience, or College diploma in Nursing Sciences (RPN) with 5+ years of experience.
• Valid Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Specialized nursing experience evaluating immunizations and occupational health requirements.
• Knowledge of epidemiology standards, privacy legislation, and the Human Rights Code as it relates to confidential information.
• Experience applying policies, procedures, health counselling techniques, and strong problem-solving, negotiation, and crisis management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, databases, spreadsheets, email, and internet-based systems.
• Strong planning, initiative, client service, teamwork, relationship-building, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
