Your Responsibilities
• You'll manage multiple lawyers' calendars, coordinating meetings, hearings, travel, and important deadlines
• You'll prepare, proofread, and distribute legal correspondence and documents with a high degree of accuracy
• You'll serve as a key point of contact for lawyers, clients, and external stakeholders, delivering professional and responsive service
• You'll open, maintain, and close client files, complete conflict searches, and keep electronic records organized and up to date
• You'll support case preparation by assembling hearing materials, coordinating couriers, and managing incoming documentation
• You'll assist with administrative processes including time entry, continuing professional development tracking, cheque requisitions, and trust deposit instructions
Skills and Qualifications
• Previous experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a professional services or legal environment
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent client service and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
