Reporting to the Director, Corporate Finance, you will oversee core financial operations, financial reporting, project accounting, audit activities, and internal controls. You'll work closely with leaders across the organization, helping to strengthen financial processes, support strategic decision-making, and mentor a dedicated finance team in a collaborative, values-driven environment.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll lead and develop a team of finance professionals through coaching, mentorship, performance management, and ongoing development.
• You'll oversee financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting records, effective internal controls, and timely month-end and year-end close activities.
• You'll manage the annual audit process and support the preparation of external financial statements and organizational reporting.
• You'll oversee accounts payable, cash management, payroll accounting, and financial reconciliations while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• You'll identify opportunities to improve financial processes, implement automation initiatives, and enhance operational efficiency.
• You'll collaborate with leaders across the organization to support budgeting, project accounting, financial reporting, and strategic decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of progressive financial management and accounting experience in a similar leadership role.
• Experience with nonprofit accounting, fund accounting, and project-based financial management.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, audit management, and month-end and year-end close processes.
• Proficiency with financial systems such as PeopleSoft and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA designation or equivalent professional certification is considered an asset.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach to problem solving.
