Your Responsibilities
• You'll assess the existing SharePoint Online environment, improving governance, permissions, storage management, and overall tenant health.
• You'll lead discovery workshops across departments to understand business needs and develop a prioritized roadmap for SharePoint improvements.
• You'll design and implement scalable information architecture, metadata standards, navigation, document libraries, and enterprise search enhancements.
• You'll recommend and implement SharePoint storage, archiving, lifecycle management, and retention strategies across Microsoft 365.
• You'll develop wireframes, templates, and governance standards while supporting departmental adoption and knowledge transfer.
• You'll help prepare the Microsoft 365 environment for AI readiness by strengthening metadata quality, permissions, and information governance.
Skills and Qualifications
• 7+ years of progressive experience designing, administering, and optimizing SharePoint Online environments within enterprise organizations.
• Strong expertise with SharePoint Online architecture, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 administration, permissions management, enterprise search, and information governance.
• Experience implementing information architecture, taxonomy, managed metadata, retention policies, storage optimization, and lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience building SharePoint sites, document libraries, pages, workflows, and governance frameworks.
• Microsoft SharePoint Online or Microsoft 365 Administration certification, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Power Platform, Power Automate, and wireframing tools such as Figma, Visio, or Balsamiq is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and knowledge transfer skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
