Your Responsibilities
• You'll maintain and enhance embedded build environments, CI pipelines, toolchains, containers, and release infrastructure to ensure reliable, reproducible builds.
• You'll integrate firmware and software from internal teams and external technology partners while managing version compatibility and complex Git workflows.
• You'll investigate build failures and system-level issues spanning embedded Linux, firmware, middleware, networking, and inter-processor communications.
• You'll develop and automate technical validation processes that improve release quality before formal QA testing.
• You'll collaborate with engineering teams to diagnose root causes, resolve integration challenges, and improve release traceability.
• You'll help introduce intelligent engineering automation that streamlines debugging, build analysis, and development workflows.
Skills and Qualifications
• 7+ years of progressive experience in embedded software development, build engineering, release management, or system integration.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Yocto, BitBake, embedded Linux development, and troubleshooting.
• Advanced experience working with C/C++, Git branching and merge strategies, and CI platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency with Python, Bash, Docker, and build automation for embedded environments.
• Experience debugging distributed embedded systems involving multiple processors, IPC, system logs, and runtime analysis.
• Knowledge of FreeRTOS, Zephyr, hardware-in-the-loop testing, networking, audio technologies, or third-party embedded SDKs is considered an asset.
• Experience building AI-assisted engineering workflows, coding agent integrations, or repository-scale automation is an asset.
