About the Opportunity
Join a large, established organization as a Senior Governance and Policy Specialist, supporting enterprise risk governance and policy initiatives that help strengthen organizational decision-making. This is an execution-focused opportunity for someone who brings a strong governance lens, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to move important deliverables forward.
You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and develop materials for executive and Board-level audiences. Your ability to translate complex governance and policy requirements into clear guidance, communications, and practical processes will be central to your success.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll provide advice on policy program direction and coordinate deliverables and stakeholder engagements that advance policy initiatives.
• You’ll review policies and governance documents for alignment with established frameworks, providing practical coaching and guidance to stakeholders.
• You’ll develop clear, executive-ready communications, including briefing notes and PowerPoint presentations for senior and Board-level audiences.
• You’ll develop, maintain and optimize enterprise risk management workspaces in SharePoint, support workflows in Jira, and contribute to accurate reporting and dashboards using Microsoft Office tools.
• You’ll coordinate risk and governance initiatives by tracking milestones, timelines and dependencies across programs and operational activities.
• You’ll support the implementation and continuous improvement of risk governance processes.
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of progressive experience in governance, policy, risk management or a related environment.
• Strong policy management and governance expertise, including reviewing governance documents and supporting policy programs.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with experience creating materials for executive or Board-level audiences.
• Practical project management or coordination experience within a governance, policy or risk environment.
• Strong proficiency with SharePoint, Jira, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools, including dashboards and presentation development.
• Enterprise risk management experience is considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail, stakeholder management skills and an execution-focused approach.
