About the Opportunity
Join a national, faith-based organization in a relationship-driven role focused on helping communities grow, adapt and build for the future. As a Growth & Stewardship Animator, you’ll work alongside local leaders, volunteers and community members, bringing people together to strengthen existing communities and explore new opportunities for sustainable growth.

You’ll be part of a collaborative national network while providing hands-on support within an assigned region. Through facilitation, strategic planning, stewardship and community development, you’ll help people turn conversations and ideas into meaningful action.

What’s In It for You
This is an opportunity to combine purpose, people and strategy in work that has a direct community impact. You’ll gain exposure to diverse communities, collaborate with colleagues across Canada and have space to test new ideas, build relationships and contribute to innovative programs and initiatives.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll partner with community leaders and volunteers to develop plans for growth, renewal and long-term sustainability.
• You’ll facilitate workshops, planning sessions and presentations that create clarity, alignment and momentum.
• You’ll help communities strengthen stewardship, fundraising and engagement practices.
• You’ll support the development and implementation of new programs, initiatives and pilot projects.
• You’ll use data, evaluation and community insights to guide planning and decision-making.
• You’ll connect communities with resources, expertise and support available across the broader organization.
• You’ll travel throughout your assigned region and participate in occasional evening and weekend commitments.

Skills and Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience in community development, community or congregational leadership, ministry, outreach, social services, education, program development or a related field.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Experience facilitating conversations, workshops or planning sessions with diverse groups.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to navigate change, ambiguity and differing perspectives.
• Experience with stewardship, fundraising, project management, strategic planning or community engagement is an asset.
• Ability to use information and data to support thoughtful planning and decision-making.
• Comfort working within a Christian faith environment and engaging thoughtfully with community, stewardship, generosity, ministry and discipleship.

Note from the Hiring Manager
“We’re looking for someone who listens first, builds trust and helps communities see what’s possible. You’ll bring strategic thinking to the table, but just as importantly, you’ll enjoy working alongside people to turn ideas into meaningful action.”
