About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) Consultant to support enterprise vulnerability management initiatives in a complex, highly regulated environment. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who has personally implemented ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and understands security operations beyond general ServiceNow administration or development.
You’ll collaborate closely with cybersecurity leaders, infrastructure, risk, and service management teams to strengthen vulnerability management processes and improve security posture. Your expertise will help automate remediation, enhance governance, and create scalable security operations practices within a large enterprise environment.
What’s In It for You
You’ll take ownership of meaningful Vulnerability Response initiatives while working alongside experienced cybersecurity and technology professionals. This long-term engagement offers exposure to enterprise-scale security operations, complex integrations, and opportunities to influence how vulnerability management processes evolve.
Your Responsibilities
• You’ll configure, administer, and enhance ServiceNow SecOps, with a strong focus on Vulnerability Response.
• You’ll manage vulnerability identification, prioritization, assignment, tracking, risk scoring, and remediation workflows.
• You’ll integrate ServiceNow with vulnerability scanning platforms such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Microsoft Defender, and other enterprise security tools.
• You’ll build automation using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and ServiceNow workflows, including integrations with CMDB and Asset Management.
• You’ll support Security Incident Response processes and recommend practical remediation and risk-reduction strategies.
• You’ll develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting covering remediation, SLA compliance, risk exposure, and security operations performance.
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of ServiceNow experience, including 2+ years of hands-on ServiceNow Security Operations experience.
• Demonstrated hands-on implementation experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and SecOps in large enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, incident response, security operations, risk-based remediation, remediation workflows, and risk scoring.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise vulnerability scanners, including Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Microsoft Defender, or comparable platforms.
• Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, CMDB, Asset Management, and enterprise security integrations. SIR, Threat Intelligence, and GRC exposure are considered assets.
• ServiceNow CSA and CIS Security Operations certifications are highly preferred.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, with experience in banking, financial services, professional services, consulting, or other highly regulated environments preferred.
