About the Opportunity
Are you early in your career and looking to build hands-on experience in digital communications, social media, and public relations? This part-time contract opportunity with a collaborative organization offers the chance to contribute to meaningful communications projects while working closely with internal stakeholders and an external PR consultant.
You’ll support a variety of digital and event-focused initiatives, from creating social content to helping coordinate a photoshoot. The schedule is flexible, with approximately two days per week and up to three days during event weeks in late October. Most work can be completed remotely, with on-site attendance required for events.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll create and support social media content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, including copy, graphics, and image sourcing
• You’ll draft web stories and other engaging digital content
• In this role, you’ll support PR and media coordination alongside internal stakeholders and an external consultant
• You’ll assist with upcoming events, including attending in person when required
• You’ll contribute to the coordination of an upcoming photoshoot
• You’ll conduct online research to support communications projects and initiatives
Skills and Qualifications
• Early-career experience or demonstrated hands-on interest in social media, digital communications, marketing, or a related area
• Strong writing skills with the ability to create clear, engaging digital and social content
• Comfort using LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook for organizational or content-focused purposes
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new digital tools and platforms
• A creative eye for sourcing images and supporting simple graphics
• Strong organization, collaboration, and research skills
• Familiarity with SEO is considered an asset, but is not required
