About the Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to a busy senior executive within a small, collaborative regulatory organization. This is an opportunity to become a trusted right hand, helping an accomplished, tech-savvy leader make the best use of their time while keeping priorities moving forward.
You’ll join a close-knit organization of approximately 50 employees where communication, curiosity and teamwork matter. This role is ideal for someone who thrives with autonomy, builds strong relationships and is comfortable taking ownership rather than waiting for direction.
What’s In It for You
You’ll earn a competitive salary of $80,000–$85,000 while gaining exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to build your knowledge of board support. You’ll work in a business-casual, collaborative environment where initiative is valued and you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how a busy executive operates.
Your Responsibilities
• You’ll actively manage a complex executive calendar, anticipating conflicts, protecting priorities and ensuring time is allocated effectively.
• You’ll serve as a proactive partner to the executive, taking ownership of tasks and confidently recommending solutions.
• You’ll review and synthesize high volumes of information, providing concise summaries, context and options for efficient decision-making.
• You’ll manage expense reporting and related administrative requirements with accuracy and discretion.
• You’ll provide backup board-related support as needed, offering an opportunity to expand your governance knowledge.
• You’ll maintain frequent communication with the executive and collaborate closely with colleagues across the organization.
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of solid Executive Assistant experience supporting senior leaders, with C-suite or VP-level support considered.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, OneNote and OneDrive, combined with strong overall technical aptitude.
• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to summarize complex or high-volume information clearly.
• Proven ability to manage demanding, frequently changing calendars with strong judgment and attention to detail.
• A confident, assertive approach, with the ability to respectfully push back, take initiative and work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity and a team-oriented mindset suited to a smaller organization.
• Non-profit, regulatory or similar sector experience is an asset but not required.
