About the Opportunity
This is an opportunity for a Junior-Intermediate level Accountant to join a collaborative Finance team during a busy period of growth and increased business demands. Reporting to the VP, Finance, you’ll provide hands-on support across month-end close, reconciliations, Accounts Payable and Receivable, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting activities.
Working within a fast-paced professional services environment, you’ll partner with colleagues across Finance, Operations, Sales, and Payroll to keep financial processes moving smoothly. Your attention to detail and ability to quickly integrate into established processes will help the team maintain accurate records while continuing to improve how work gets done.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll prepare and post journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and other month-end adjustments.
• You’ll complete balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and maintain supporting schedules and working papers.
• You’ll support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including reporting packages, analysis, and audit documentation.
• You’ll assist with customer invoicing, cash application, AR reconciliations, aging reviews, and collection follow-ups.
• You’ll investigate billing discrepancies and partner with Operations, Sales, and Payroll to resolve invoice and payment inquiries.
• You’ll support expense reviews, financial recordkeeping, process documentation, and other accounting needs during high-volume periods.
Skills and Qualifications
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, including hands-on exposure to month-end close activities.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to independently manage competing priorities.
• Exposure to Accounts Receivable, collections, billing, or other high-volume transaction processes is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is an asset.
• Pursuit of, or interest in, a CPA designation is considered an asset.
