About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a Bilingual Recruiting Specialist to join a fast-paced professional services environment where you’ll help create a positive candidate experience from initial screening through to onboarding. This remote contract is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thrives in a high-volume setting, and can confidently communicate in both French and English.
You’ll work closely with candidates and internal recruitment partners to keep the hiring process moving smoothly and efficiently. Your ability to stay organized, communicate clearly, and provide thoughtful support will help candidates feel informed and prepared throughout their journey.
What’s In It for You
This is an opportunity to build hands-on experience across the full recruitment lifecycle while working in a collaborative, high-volume environment. You’ll strengthen your experience with recruitment technology, candidate engagement, onboarding, and offer management while contributing to a team that values efficiency, responsiveness, and a positive candidate experience.
Your Responsibilities
• You’ll conduct high-volume outbound calls to screen prospective candidates and assess their suitability for available opportunities.
• You’ll communicate with applicants by phone, email, and text, answering questions and explaining the hiring and onboarding process.
• You’ll follow up with candidates to gather information, clarify next steps, and help resolve concerns when needed.
• You’ll manage recruitment activities from screening through offer and onboarding using Workday.
• You’ll extend employment offers and educate successful candidates on onboarding requirements and first-day expectations.
• You’ll maintain accurate candidate notes, outcomes, and activity updates within internal systems.
Skills and Qualifications
• 6 months to 3 years of recruitment experience, ideally within a high-volume recruiting environment.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken French and English is required.
• Experience with HR systems and recruitment tools, with Workday experience considered an asset.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills for reporting and tracking purposes.
• Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Excellent communication and active-listening skills, including the ability to clarify information and de-escalate candidate concerns.
• A university degree, preferably with a focus in Human Resources, is an asset but not required.
